Electorate Roll

In the interests of democracy and community involvement, the Danggan Balun Applicant are committed to hearing the voices of all of our claimants and will conduct ballots of our members when the need arises. In order to vote, please ensure you and your relatives are enrolled! Find out more below.

Enrolment

All claimants with a login to the Members Portal will automatically be added to the electorate roll.

Claimants who are without a login and do not wish to have one will need to do one of the following:

• Accessing a family member’s portal, fill out the enrolment form below

• Email admin@fiverivers.net.au

Proxy Voting

Members may proxy vote for other members, to nominate a proxy, please email admin@fiverivers.net.au for more information.

Voting Process

The voting is conducted electronically using the Election Runner™ Platform, a third-party independent organisation, this is to ensure the privacy of voters, quality of process and integrity of the ballot. Voting is 100% private and individual voters choices can not be accessed, counting and results are done entirely by Election Runner™.

A ballot and all it’s options will be published one month before the voting opens. Voting will be open from Sunset on a Friday and close at Sunset on the following Friday (1 week). Each individually registered member will receive an email with their electronic ballot login details, follow the details in the email to vote.*

*If more than one voter is registered to any particular email, the email will receive an individual ballot for each voter - each ballot needs to be used!

If you have been nominated as a proxy, you will only receive a single electronic ballot - your vote will automatically be weighed with any proxies. i.e. a member with 2 proxies, will have a vote weight of 3 (their own, plus 2).
